Support, Networks & Opportunities for Artists & Practitioners

Theatre Lab is Nonsuch’s programme of workshops, networks and opportunities to bring together creatives, practitioners, artists and producers from across theatre and performance in Nottingham (and the wider East Midlands). As a small organisation, we’re all too aware of how important opportunities that support artists and theatre-makers to thrive are and so Theatre Lab aims to enable greater connectivity and facilitate the opportunity to those who need it through a number of simple¬†programmes and initiatives.¬†

After being part of the original cohort of In Good Company associates back in 2014, Nonsuch is thrilled to announce that from September 2018 we are one of the new partners of the In Good Company Programme, bringing the amazing work IGC do to Nottingham!

These opportunities are available to support arts professionals in a sector with very little peer support – especially for HR professionals. You get out what you put in, but all of them are open access and ready to have you join!

Hosted on the first Tuesday of every month, this open session is for practitioners and artists to skillshare their physical theatre expertise.

If you deliver drama or theatre sessions to community groups, there’s little or no support for you. This peer-led session is a space to share ideas, get advice and hack out problems over a cup of tea!

What Next? is a movement bringing together arts and cultural organisations (and freelancers) from across the UK, to articulate, champion and strengthen the role of culture in our society.
