Throughout January, Nonsuch in partnership with revolutionary youth campaign Undivided ran workshops, assemblies and activities with young people aged 13-18 across the East Midlands to gather their opinions on what they want to see from Brexit.

In just less than one month we ran a staggering 42 workshops working with over 1,600 young people to gather 14,275 votes. Now this amazing set of results has been sent of to the team at Undivided HQ who will adding the opinions of Nottingham’s young people into the national data set before submitting the top 10 demands for Brexit as voted on by 13-29 year olds to Parliament in time for Theresa May’s triggering of article 50.

Undivided is a revolutionary youth political campaign led by 30 young people in partnership with Livity, a youth marketing organisation. Nonsuch is key partner of this amazing project which is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. Artistic Director, Edward Boott, leads Undivided’s national programme which has seen over 4000 sessions run with young people across all constituent countries of the UK through 82 events. Voting on demands finished on 14th February, but Undivided is now cooking up plans to keep championing the opinions of young people in politics through creative means for the coming two years.
